A website that makes the grade
Alpha Sigma Nu honor society is the “summa cum laude” of academic and personal achievement. They wanted to amplify their mission and reach, and needed a website worthy of their reputation. In addition to a content management system and events calendar, they needed a streamlined way to share updates and announcements with their thousands of members. ASN uses Blackbaud Razor’s Edge fundraising and donor CRM, and because the CRM and website CMS were not integrated, an update on one platform needed to be manually applied to the other, creating a time consuming and error-prone process.

Working smarter, not harder
The resulting website is honor-roll material. Built from the ground up, we provided a design and built a site that is user-friendly and helps current and potential Alpha Sigma Nu members quickly find the information they need. An easy-to-use CMS gives ASN leaders the ability to keep their content fresh, a custom WordPress plug-in enables 2-way syncing between website and CRM, and an automated and moderated self-registration process saves staff time when onboarding members into the system at the appropriate member levels. This new website not only boosts ASN’s visibility but also reinforces their mission of scholarship, loyalty and service. Now, that’s a website worthy of extra credit.
